  • Antitrust and Technology Practices. I contributed to briefs for several federal courts, wrote memoranda for consumer and labor class action suits, and analyzed potential new cases for legal viability.

  • Technology and Digital Platforms Section. I wrote a venue memo for upcoming litigation, researched and prepared memos for depositions, and led questioning of parties’ engineers for an ongoing investigation.

Justfix, New York, NY Staff Software Engineer, 2021 - 2022

  • At Justfix, a housing justice tech nonprofit that builds online tools to help NYC tenants report unsafe housing conditions and landlords, I led a three-person team to build a Letter of Complaint tool for California residents. I also built several new features for the Who Owns What property research tool.
  • I worked with Senator Ron Wyden’s office to analyze how the Algorithmic Accountability Act might combat discriminatory tenant screening algorithms and coordinated Justfix’s official endorsement of the bill.

Sidewalk Labs, New York, NY Senior Software Engineer, 2017 - 2020

  • I led accessibility policy for Sidewalk Toronto, a proposed waterfront ‘future city’ development, including co-design for inclusive city spaces and services with members of the Toronto accessibility community.
  • I wrote software for Delve, an AI-assisted urban planning platform, and Toronto Transit Explorer, a transit routing web app, which garnered positive press. I am an inventor on eight patents related to this work.

  • Google Fiber: Tech-led & launched Digital Inclusion Planner, a tool for visualizing the digital divide and planning broadband Community Impact programs.
  • Google News: Built citizen journalism web app, maintained Google News iOS app.
